Hi guys.

This seems to be a running trend on other sites, but on my quest to get some actions I bumped into 3 women who requested a 'booking' fee.

What exactly is this booking fee? Makes ne anxious, I imagine paying such a fee online only to be given the wrong address or no response at all.

Is this where the direction of punting is going or is this a scheme of sorts? Please shed light.

I've never charged a booking fee ever. I honestly don't see the point. All it does is scare the person off thinking it's a scam

There is something that puts me as a wg off guys paying a booking fee. I foresee a very real potential problem with taking booking fees. Ok so Jannie paid his booking fee and his appointment is reserved for 9. And at 8.55 he calls he is running a few minutes late. No big issue there. By 9.35 he hasn't arrived yet and no word from him. Whatsapp sent, call made but no reply. (His battery died, network went down, blah blah blah). At 10 you take another client. 10.02 Jannie calls and is very upset because he paid a booking fee and has the unrealistic expectation that you must wait for him..... rants all over the forum and lady's comment section how she is running a scam. Unless the lady reveals her comms with him (which she is not allowed to do) how does she deal with it? Then mob mentality kicks in and the thread goes on for 10 pages, of which most of the posts are not even about her but it affects her cos her name is in the subject line. And it becomes a mudslinging match between non-involved parties.

Ah, the wisdom that comes with experience and age. So refreshing.

Thought of another potential issue. Guy knows how you prefer the booking fee to be paid,he's visited before. Doesn't call to arrange, pays and just rocks up when you have your whole family for Sunday lunch. Then complains he waa ghosted and he paid a booking fee. Or he paid a few days in qdvance but didnt arrange a time and just rocks up and expects you to be available. I had this experience recently with monthly in advance client and the whole purple relationship blew up.

Don't pay booking fee's
It's that simple
If you made an appointment and aren't able to make it call the lady and tell her
Cancellation fee aswell- you don't need to pay any as things come up and you can't pay for no services

That being said - if you are 15 min late and didn't call/msg and another client gets "your" timeslot it's your mess not the ladies

No lady will just sit and wait, like no client wants to wait.

It's quite simple
Respect each others time
