I do sell content for clients who would like a better idea of what to expect in reality, especially for those who are more cautious before booking. However, I don't send random one-time selfies for free, as unfortunately this has often led to time wasters collecting pictures with no genuine intention of booking.
I prefer to offer pictures or content as a paid service. This helps ensure that the client is serious, and it also respects my time and privacy. In my experience, genuinely interested clients usually focus on confirming a booking rather than requesting endless photos.
At the same time, I completely understand that clients may be skeptical, as there are scams within the industry. I always encourage clients to do their research, read reviews, and make informed decisions before booking. But it works both ways.
Just as a client may feel they are taking a risk by paying a deposit or purchasing content, service providers also take a risk when we reserve time slots, turn away other potential bookings, or send personal content only to have our time wasted.
Mutual respect and understanding are important. Both parties are protecting themselves, and clear communication and professionalism from both sides make for a much better experience.
