Yeah, I've seen some rather questionable recommendations and usually most punters would just keep quiet so as not to be targeted instead of saying it's a shit recommendation. But with this thumbs up it was surprising to see the massive amounts of thumbs down immediately on it showing quite clearly how shit of a recommendation it was. That's where I finally saw value in the feature.

Also saw it on fake reviews which probably also had value as newbies would question why those all 5's reviews have so many thumbs down and maybe search a bit more before paying school fees.

Unfortunately its quite hard o just "not read" if one wants to participate in the forum because i) you feel the need to comment on almost every thread (even those you clearly know absolutely nothing about), AND ii) your inane ramblings often derail threads entirely, so just skipping over your posts makes following a conversation quite impossible.

Also kept the forum a bit cleaner.

Whenever you saw a moronic post or comment, there's no need to respond back, you could simply dislike it and move on with your day.

It was great to see the morons get disliked by the majority of users, made me feel more sane and hopeful for mankind
