That would be a waste of money. Paying an hourly rate for FH and wasting it on a coffee chit chat.

I have had a few of those as well as dinner dates. Some clients prefer to first meet in person before making an appointment.

I've done it many times with regulars. My only advice is that be extra careful not to get the boundary lines blurred, especially with regulars. Always be upfront with each other and talk money upfront, no matter how awkward it is at that point. But once that is out of the way, yes definitely non-physical bookings are definitely possible. But I can't stress it enough, talk about the money first and get that out of the way.

I'd never try this with someone I haven't seen before.

I wouldn't say it was a booking but there was a time I called one of my regulars who I hadn't seen in months. I was going to book but once I got there we started catching up and after hours of talking, we went to grab some food. Then I had to go coz it was getting late. No money was exchanged. However, the next time that I was around, I did book her.
