Yet another strange phenomenon that through the years have managed to baffle me senseless.

You would glance through the reviews or comments (Gold Members can see all the comments on the profiles, for those UnGold members info), and then this magical, self explaining, entertaining, informative, insightful, post would hit me between the eyes :

SELFIE

Usually with an exclamation mark or two or three, depending on the quality of the "selfie" that was posted.

SELFIE !
SELFIE !!
SELFIE !!!

And I look at these posts with utter amazement and sometimes a feelin akin to hero worship. For I can look as much as I like, but for my feeble brain to distinguish between a review made by a first-time poster or a second or third time poster, and for that review to be classified by a "hero punter" as a "SELFIE", is a monumental jump in logical thought.

These proclaimers of "SELFIES" must be the brightest of bright minds around, because I totally fail to see how that can be deducted without a shadow of a doubt, and exposed as such, proclaimed as such, and sometimes almost (hesitantly I say this) ordained as such ?

My feeble mind just sitting there in awe of these intellectual giants that wander our purple streets. Priviledged to be in the company of such greatness, basking in the knowledge that they must know the secret formula in determining whether a review is a "SELFIE" or not.

I also wonder at the amazing perception of these selfie-detectors. Sometimes I can pick it up but very rarely. What's odder still is how often they are correct!

I flatter myself that there can be no doubt cast on my reviews.

While I lack the tools to assert this as fact, a good example (IMHO) of the self-review are the two just posted for Chanel Carter. If she did in fact self-review its a really dumb move, as that sort of thing sullies a reputation quicker than lightning, and she seems to have a lot going for her.
