UnRicaed/PreRicaed punting sim cards stop working

I have had 2 of my Sim cards I bought in the street stop working. Had 2 ladies saying same.Is it network provider deactivating them because they are UnRicaed or something?Anyone with same issue..

I have had the same experience. Sims lasted about two weeks and then went dead.
