Today I was attacked by a client for only asking, his preferes between
Coffee
Tea or hot chocolate
But the guy he almost chop my head over the phone hahahaha

Only because I asked him what is his favorite,so I get everything ready before he arrives.Since its now cold but the guy went crazy and accused me of wanting to waste his time hahahaha

I tried to explain to him that I always offer drinks to all my clients, but it's winter now so I offer tea, coffee and hot chocolate. And I like to know what to get it ready.

You guys always ask us what you can bring, but then you don't want us to ask what we can make why?

Honestly, I think some people misunderstand the intention. Offering a warm drink is just hospitality, especially in winter. What I've found helps is preparing it in a takeaway cup so they don't feel pressured to sit and drink it there. They can take it with them and still enjoy the gesture without feeling like their time is being used up

A lot of what happened here was probably lost due to a misunderstanding of intention.

If this is someone booking you for the first time, his thinking is ok, I have one hour and she might be a massive clock watcher and book back 2 back so I need to get in, pay, get showered as quick as possible without it being weird, then warm up into the session with some form of chatting and foreplay before the deed and then have enough time to shower at the end again.

That doesn't leave much time for the actual good stuff, so when you (even with good intentions) offer a hot beverage upfront for the beginning of the booking the guy's probably thinking you're shortening his fun time on purpose because now he's forced to 'waste' ten minutes of his booking time upfront.

Suggestion. If you're offering tea, coffee and hot chocolate it means you already have all three at your home/venue. Only offer it during the booking, and they can then say yes or no at that point. And yes, buy some take away cups as a nice gesture just in case.

Here's my real suggestion. Just try it once or twice and then come and give us feedback.

When offering, give that extra ten to fifteen minutes as free extra time not affecting the booking time as an opportunity to chat about likes/dislikes and limit that offer to first time bookings. That will get you so much extra value you'll turn many first time bookings into return customers.

So, try this:

Hey hun, since this will be our first booking and I'd love to give you an awesome experience, let's start the booking with a tea/coffee/hot choc and chat about what you'd like to get from the session? You'll still get your full hour after but we'll get to know each other better before getting all hot and steamy (yum!!) and it will give me a better chance to rock your world! Can't wait to meet you and hear about all the naughty little things that tickle your fancy. Hugs and kisses.. MBD

That extra ten minutes won't break your business but it might just turn out to be a game changer in the sea of random and sometimes mediocre bookings we go to?

Just a thought...

Thank you for the advice much appreciated

I always offer my people something to drink,in summer I water and cold drink guy takes what he prefers.

Winter we go for hot stuff, and Friday was damn cold even us we spend the whole day drinking tea:)

So I thought since he is coming from work,he might need to first warm up with a cup of hot stuff:)

You have offered your hospitality for many years , was always very much appreciated. So don't change for this one misunderstanding.
He was obviously expecting 'Coffee, Tea, or Me'. Then the Hot Chocolate through him off his track.
