Just read on News24 of a guy in PE taken for R700k by the scammers.

Same old story we all have heard. Lady caught with fake money and claiming to have been raped by the punter.

Punter from PE fell for the BS, paid the initial R10k, but thats not where it stop. R700k later he decide to go to the cops.

The lady and her account friend running the scam got caught in a trap as they tried to bribe the cops with R30k to drop the case against them.

Case currently running in PE courts.

I was almost a victim last year 3 or 4 months ago.

Lolz they had my fake number which I use to talk to the ladies and my actual number.How they got my actual number I don't know.

Bro had 700K chilling in his account, damn they really found a whale and milked him dry. I wonder where he found the lady, was it here? If he's giving out 700k he has to be seriously loaded, I would assume he deals with escort agencies. Did they set him up? So many questions. Bro has to be a millionaire so I'd understand why he kept paying to let it go away, too much at stake, career wise or a wife at home, but damn 700K!

Strangely enough, I received a call on my personal nr about a week ago. I didn't answer and added his nr onto my punting WhatsApp. He had a profile pic of a VW Polo and Truecaller revealed it's Capt something. I blocked the fucker so hopefully that's the end of it.

The game is changing, chaps. Scammers are levelling up.

They're on dating apps as well. I was chatting with some chick, before I know it we exchanged details, chats got heated, I was asked to send a revealing photo, luckily didn't send my face, but next thing I get sent my name with the picture and a threat that this going to be posted online now if I don't pay them. Next thing I get a WhatsApp message with a police officer profile picture. I just remained calm because the reality is there is no benefit for them in releasing your details so I called their bluff and told them to fuck off and blocked them. They still tried calling me from about 5 different numbers which I also blocked. In the meantime I quickly paused all my social profiles, went in google to see what comes up when I search my name and requested google and those sites to remove all my details, so even if they googled me or searched on social media nothing would come up. When I reactivated my social media profiles after a few days I changed privacy settings on who can find me etc.
