Back when I was in my 20s (25 years ago) I won a trip for 2 for a romantic weekend at a hotel in jhb . I'm from cape town and I didn't have anyone to go with, so I messaged a bunch of jhb women on a dating website to see if they fancied joining me. (No.expectations of anything , just some company, although there was always the hope of something more).

I didn't expect anyone to answer, but a nice lady did, and we had an enjoyable weekend, including a trip to gold reef city and some sex!


Which just goes to show, it doesn't hurt to ask! And Sylvia, I didn't get any replies calling me demented either!

Some gents dont like venues, some ladies may not always be able to host. Some punters/SPs may prefer meeting at a hotel in some areas for discretion reasons and the SP having this already in hand upfront may provide her a win. Not everything is a shitty proposal all the time LOL.
