She definitely does feel entitled to it because of the discounts. But that only came up as a reason AFTER she had absconded with my money. At the time it was all about the overnighter. And the most frustrating bit is that if she had actually said "I've changed my mind - I'd like you to pay for those bookings", I would gladly have done it. Instead she told me this was an upfront payment for an overnighter, disappeared and then AFTERWARDS is saying it was for those earlier bookings.

They do this because they think they will get away with it, they may think you are a nice guy or a sucker and you won't do my thing about it. You think you are pouring yourself out to someone who you have known for years, she sees another pathetic sucker and a loser. But ladies, you have your profiles visible for all to see and there is a review system...oh well, some people learn the hard way.

For these bookings Kate frequently gave a discount in terms of which I just had to cover the cost of the room. I protested this (because if she wasn't seeing me she would be able to see another client and I didn't want her losing out on my account) but she insisted.

Sounds like you were taking advantage of her! These ladies are here to make a living and you are paying for their time.

Not all of the bookings were discounted. But either way I was ready to pay for her time. I was literally in the room, with the money to do so in my wallet/hand.

I know that the ladies are here to make a living. I also know that by seeing me she was forfeiting the opportunity to get paid by someone else (i.e. in economics jargon the 'opportunity cost' of her seeing me is her normal rate.) which is what I told her. I even told her that the last thing I would want is for her to have second thoughts about accepting a booking from me because she could more profitably see someone else.

She wouldn't accept it, because "we weren't doing a booking". In fact on one occasion, we decided to go get a drink - she got ready in the bathroom and I left the full fee on the bed. She came out, I went into the bathroom and when I came out she had taken the cost of the room and insisted on handing the rest back to me. How is that taking advantage? What should I have done? Physically fought her?

(Also like you say they're here to make a living - this is a business. Where TF have you heard of a business that gives a discount and then later tells you, you owe them that amount?)

This is the (harsh) reality, and good "advice" not that I necessarily think the OP needed advice, maybe rather then a timeous reminder of/lesson in what familiarity might make one forget.

It is indeed a one way street, and best to be aware of that, despite how it sucks.

It is only really a mistake if you make it twice, so onwards and upwards to the OP, definitely good to share this experience with other punters.

Sorry JP82 but if it makes you feel any better, I once paid a WG and she never even gave me any sex. She just yapped on and on about nonsense and deliberately wasted time. It was only until I gave a negative review that she partially refunded me.
Anyways, I hope you get refunded and hopefully this does not become normal practice. I will certainly stay far away from booking this WG until a proper explanation is revealed.
