Guess we all feeling it food price went extremely high, I use to buy 1ltr of milk for R9 today it cost R16 I like brown beans was shocked when I ask for shopping list from my kids that 5kg of beans cost R249 goshhhh peanut butter from R49 to R90 medium jam was R25 now is 49 this are basics nje imagine
Honestly things are tough hmmmm
Am starting to diet now hope it works.....

Expect another major jump in prices with Escom hiking their tarrifs with 15%. Business are not going to absorb the cost, it will get passed on to us.
The new weather patterns causing havoc with crops is another major contributor.

Wrong.... food price is not a problem, corruption is the problem, crime is the problem.
Farm security cost relative to the tonnes of specific product have increased on security index alone by 300%. So calculate the security and insurance % per ton alone in relation to the total cost per tonne and it will make sense.

Add Escom, fuel levies, labour laws, bribes, VAT, water tariff and consumables cost increase.
