I don't know how any of the other Durban punters feel, but to me it seems that, after reading JoeDbn's original comments (and intentions) for this long running Dbn Thread, it has become somewhat derailed from its original purpose over the years (I guess any train would eventually go off rails without the proper conductors, after almost seven years running).

I mean, I personally read it and scroll up a few pages everyday almost, and to be honest I've hardly read one bit of helpful info on this thread in a very long time... anyway, my opinion!

I guess the perceived derailment of the thread could be due to some of its users misunderstanding (or not reading) our 'founding father's' JoeDbns ORIGINAL COMMENTS.. Yes, he did say all feedback was welcome, but I think he meant feedback from punters regarding their genuine punting experiences in Durban.

And yes, although many punters still do comment on this thread, I personally have found the comments less than helpful from a punting perspective i.e. I hardly see anything anymore like: Ladies to recommend, ladies to avoid, etc.

Well, that's my two cents... anyone care to comment or counter, please feel free. Me being open minded I'll never take any comments negatively.

I would, however, be interested to see how other Durban punters feel about how a thread like this one is supposed to work.

After all, any ESA thread is only as good as those who run with it.
